Honesty was born April 11, 1989 in Miami, Florida and raised in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up with her brother and mother in a single parent household where soul music was always present in the home. Influenced by artists like Jill Scott, Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse, Honesty manages to tell a different story than most from a city where southern hip-hop influence reins heavy. She is an artist with an enduring, deep dedication to lyrical sincerity and musical truthfulness. Her vivid imagery paints a picture that streams into your soul and breathes life into her words. She is a graduate of the prestigious Florida A&M University where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Music Industry, and was a part of the infamous Marching 100 band. Honesty recently obtained her Master's of Science degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University as well. Fusing her soulful background with her musical knowledge, she is currently working on her debut album, “Honesty Speaks”, set to release Spring 2017. There is no doubt that with her lustrous voice sweeping over melodic tones, Honesty is sure to have your feet tapping and fingers snapping for many years to come.
